Thrive Church is committed to helping people who are hurting. We offer Christian-based counseling services at the church for anyone struggling with addictions, pre- or post-abortive confusion, marriage counseling, overcoming hurt, Father/Mother/Family issues, guilt and failure, loss, or a myriad of other factors that need strong counsel to overcome the lies of the enemy in your life.
Shelley Haney is a Board Certified Counselor and member of the National Association of Christian Counselors. She has acquired her Bachelor’s Degree in the Science Psychology: Christian Counseling through Liberty University. Her background of patient care as a surgical technologist, nursing assistant, and hospice care has been extended to her role within the counseling setting. Shelley is employed through His High Places Biblical Counseling ministry and brings support, resources, and hope to those who desire her service. She currently directs our Embrace Grace program and provides counsel for those who attend our church and others within our community. Her passion is to lead others to freedom in Christ, with a holistic approach, while extending the same grace and love that she has experienced through God and others (II Corinthians 1:3-4, NLT).
